Kathleen Lancaster Montage Acting Reel (Duration 1:47)
Hi, I'm Kat
I joined SAG-AFTRA as a young actor in Los Angeles. My acting credits include Law & Order: SVU, The Closer, and When Zachary Beaver Came to Town. Trained in both Meisner and comedy improv, I bring grounded dramatic performances and fearless comedy to film and television.
I'm drawn to characters standing at impossible crossroads—ordinary people forced to discover extraordinary strength when the systems around them begin to fail.
Whether I'm crafting a character as an actor, writing a mystery, producing a thriller or performing live comedy improv, I'm interested in stories that entertain first and linger long after the credits roll. Stories that ask audiences to reconsider fear, courage, identity, and the quiet decisions that ultimately define a life.
I believe the stories we tell ourselves shape the lives we live.
While I'm often drawn to suspense and drama, comedy remains at the heart of my work. My background in improv, sketch, stand-up, and sitcom performance has shaped my instincts as both an actor and writer, reminding me that some of the most memorable moments—whether funny or dramatic—come from characters pursuing the truth with complete sincerity.
I enjoy grounded, character-driven comedy where authentic relationships and sharp timing create laughs that feel earned.
