Kathleen Lancaster
Stories can change the way we see ourselves.
That's why I create films about ordinary people discovering extraordinary courage.

While I'm often drawn to suspense and drama, comedy remains at the heart of my work. My background in improv, sketch, stand-up, and sitcom performance has shaped my instincts as both an actor and writer, reminding me that some of the most memorable moments—whether funny or dramatic—come from characters pursuing the truth with complete sincerity.
I enjoy grounded, character-driven comedy where authentic relationships and sharp timing create laughs that feel earned.
Hi, I'm Kathleen
I believe the stories we tell ourselves shape the lives we live.
That's why I'm drawn to characters standing at impossible crossroads—ordinary people forced to discover extraordinary strength when the systems around them begin to fail.
Whether I'm writing a mystery, producing a thriller, performing live comedy improv, or stepping in front of the camera, I'm interested in stories that entertain first and linger long after the credits roll. Stories that ask audiences to reconsider fear, courage, identity, and the quiet decisions that ultimately define a life.
As an actor, I love bringing emotionally complex women to life. As a writer and filmmaker, I'm passionate about creating original stories that blend suspense, heart, and hope.
